Internal expressions of interest are invited to fill a Lead Editor role within the Communications and Corporate Affairs team located in Sydney or Melbourne.

The role offered is permanent.

The Team
ASIC's Communications and Corporate Affairs Group informs, develops, and designs ASIC's external and internal messages and communications. It supports a whole-of-ASIC approach by working across the organisation through the full communications lifecycle.
The External Communications team is responsible for creating and editing core content, reports and regulatory documents. The team produces content for Commissioners, manages corporate social media accounts and delivers whole-of-ASIC communications projects.

As a Lead Editor, you will be accountable for:

  • Providing information design, editing and publishing services teams and business units across ASIC.
  • Leading, guiding, and mentoring editors to ensure products are produced in line with ASIC's templates and style guides and Government accessibility requirements.
  • Identifying opportunities to drive crossteam collaboration, demonstrate leadership across the team and contribute to a high performing environment.
  • Assisting in triaging editing priorities to meet tight timelines and contribute to project management across the team.
  • Evaluating, refine and maintain ASIC publishing standards, procedures and resources
