About Our Client:

Our client, a leading healthcare facility located in Adelaide, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) to lead their Emergency Department.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled nurse leader to contribute to the efficient operation and high-quality patient care within the Emergency Department.


Position Overview:

As the Nurse Unit Manager for the Emergency Department, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing the nursing team, and ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.

Your leadership will be critical in maintaining a responsive and efficient emergency care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing staff in the Emergency Department.
  • Oversee the daytoday operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and department efficiency.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff in their professional development.
  • Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives within the Emergency Department.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Substantial experience in emergency nursing, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing or Nurse Management is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
