As the Head of Media & Communications, you will be based in Melbourne and be responsible for leading the ideation, planning, development, and implementation of all the media and communications activities.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Leading the media and communications team in coordinating our efforts in traditional and social media and communications;
Ensuring diverse First Nations voices and perspectives;
Coaching First Nations people with diverse lived experience;
Leading the preparation of publications and reports; and
Develop and manage existing strategy.
Skills we are looking for:
A strong focus on backing and coaching First Nations people making sure First Nations voices are perspective are included;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that capture First Nations voices;
An experienced media and or communications professional;
Worked at a similar organisation previously;
Attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines; and
Extremely organised and a creative problem solver.
