The Trust & Safety team at TikTok is dedicated to building a safe environment for users to discover and create on TikTok, Helo and other ByteDance products.

As a product manager in our Trust & Safety team, you will work with teams of engineers, data scientists, operations, product policies and various relevant internal teams to build safety product features and strategies.

You will be working on safety features, technical strategies to improve our trust and safety processes, as well as methods to detect and address the risky behaviors and actors in the community.

You will also work on project management to deliver major Trust and Safety product changes.


This role is also at the junction with a fast-growing vertical of our platform - Tiktok LIVE, partnering with other product teams at the global scale to solve ever-changing challenges in the most impactful ways.

Responsibilities:

What will I be doing?

  • Driving LIVE safety product strategy and building system modules to protect the integrity and quality of content on the platform, the safety of our creators and provide the best possible experience for our LIVE users.
  • Defining product roadmap and iteration plans, set metrics that inform the success of safety efforts
  • Analyzing data, finding problems, making strategic decisions based on data and metrics.
  • Managing system development lifecycle from 0 to 1, negotiating and communicating problems, ideas, data across different teams to ensure successful launch.

What should I bring with me?

  • 3 or more years of fulltime experience in product management in web internet companies with intermediate to advanced level of system design/analysis productskills.

Even better if:

  • Experience and expertise in content moderation and quality, safety & abuse, and other safetyrelated initiatives.
  • Experience in project management with crossfunction teams, across different time zones, cultures and languages.
  • Clear mind, datadriven, able to find, investigate and solve problems using data result.
  • Be a team player, goaloriented and highly selfmotivated.
