We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team for our Furniture Warehouse.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks within the warehouse environment, including receiving, storing, picking and packing goods, and ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.


Responsibilities:

  • Receiving goods and checking for damages and discrepancies
  • Sorting, labeling and storing products in their designated areas
  • Preparing orders for shipment by picking, packing and labeling products
  • Deliveries to customers as required (Must have a valid Drivers License
  • MR a greater advantage)
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintaining inventory and conducting regular stock checks
  • Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor
  • Previous Delivery driving experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems

Job Type:
Casual

Salary:
$ $36.98 per hour
