The role:

In addition to providing high-quality customer service in a face-to-face environment, the Counter Planner also assists the Statutory Planning team with the preparation of written advice, again in response to land use and development queries.

Given the nature of the role, an outgoing and confident personality is preferred.

Whilst Council recognises new ways of working, this role requires full-time attendance in the office given the customer service focus.

That said, a 9-day fortnight options exist.

About you:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, the City of Ballarat is seeking a town planning professional with a good starting knowledge of the Victoria Planning Provisions and a positive attitude.
