This opportunity


As Commercial Analyst, you will lead the development and launch of all tactical campaigns across our Enterprise, Government & Wholesale customers.

You will work across all brands including TPG, Vodafone & iiNet inclusive of all product portfolios including but not limited to Data, Internet, Cloud, Voice & Mobile.

You will also play an integral role in leading the development of Customer Value Proposition for these products which must meet customer needs and create differentiation, whilst aligning to strategy and delivering sustainable growth to TPG Telecom.

To be successful you will work collaboratively with teams across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Service Management, IT and Network operations to ensure the agreed strategy is achieved.


Responsibilities

  • Accountability for P&L performance in the E&G segment.

This includes, but not limited to:
- understanding key drivers of key products / customers to determine key insights/trends
- root cause analysis of commercial issues within the segment (i.e. churn rate is high) and developing key commercial recommendations to improve
- being able to clearly articulate these findings to the sales community / SLT

  • Identification of inyear growth opportunities within the segment based on key data insights/competitor trends/market trends, etc.
  • Business case modelling on key acquisition / retention offers working with the pricing team to gain approvals
  • Developing commercial reports that can be utilised by the sales team to better understand product/sales performance
  • Working with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of the approved strategy.

Knowledge and experience

  • Strong Commercial acumen with strong analytical and attention to detail. Ability to delivery high quality and accurate insightful outputs linking to an understanding of how the business could action those outputs
  • Aptitude and drive for seeking continuous process improvement and innovation
  • Strong communication / presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Great stakeholder management, ability to influence and steer actions and decision making at GM level. Can negotiate and resolve competing priorities.
  • Ability to deal with rapid change and quick pace with resilience and a cando attitude; passion for knowledge and a flexible attitude to focus on the relevant day to day challenges
  • Prior experience in a commercial / finance role
