- One of the residential aged care facilities that The Royal Melbourne Hospital operates is in Keilor East. Our values of leading with kindness, people first and excellence together guide the way we work with our residents, their loved ones and each other. Our team is committed to working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient centred care and pride ourselves on our team work and supportive working environment.
Your new role
- Deliver a professional and caring customer focused service, the Ward Clerk is the first point of contact for residents, families and visitors to the ward
- Provide clear and concise communication with staff, residents and visitors
- Answer and respond to telephone and reception enquires, communication via our communication platforms such as the Electronic Medical Record
- Organise resident admission and discharge documentation
- Coordinate resident transport
- Five days per fortnight (shift time:

- You have effective communication skills, written and verbal, including a professional telephone manner
- Clerical experience and administrative skills
- Thrive in busy environments
- Competent computer skills
