Step into a pivotal role where your expertise in business analysis and risk controls will steer and inform IAG's approach to safeguard our customers and their financial data.

At IAG, we're seeking a Senior Business Analyst who can analyse a complex landscape of systems and processes to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Your purpose and unique contribution will be to lead the approach to ongoing assessment, with an initial focus on credit card payments and PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

Your role will involve reviewing and understanding our obligations, assessing current processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to recommend and facilitate changes to meet compliance obligations.


Your other responsibilities will include:
Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on control scoping, implementation, and remediation guidance for projects, systems, and business processes.

Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external PCI DSS stakeholders such as Qualified Security Assessors and acquiring banks.

Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing oversight of their work.
Maintain control assessment dashboards and develop regular reporting on control testing impacts.
Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance agility and self-service capabilities for Finance risk control owners.
Collaborate with IAG group colleagues to share learnings and improve processes.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, open to locations across New Zealand however our preference is for someone to be based in Auckland.

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications and capabilities:
Experience in business analysis and risk controls.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working with ticketing and orchestration solutions such as Service Now and JIRA.
Experience developing reports in tools such as Service Now Performance Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau.
A strong desire to constantly learn and adapt.
A tertiary qualification or experience in roles relating to Finance, Compliance or Risk is preferable.
Knowledge of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) would be an advantage.
A minimum of three years' experience working in corporate environments.
