About the role:

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality policy and regulation advice, projects, and initiatives in relation to water, air, and noise.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and implement policy projects and initiatives focusing on water, air, and noise management.
  • Contribute to EPA's strategic goals of safeguarding Victorian communities and the environment.
  • Provide administrative support for regulatory outcomes, ensuring compliance with government and EPA policies.
  • Offer timely and evidence-based advice to internal and external stakeholders, including EPA executives and ministerial offices.

Skills and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent experience in public policy, environmental science, law, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of government structures, legislation, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and evaluate regulatory policies and instruments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory processes in Victoria.
