Our client is seeking a payroll officer to work in a team environment, responsible for processing the payroll for about 1,000 employees.
The Opportunity
Onboarding and maintaining employee files;
Weekly and fortnightly payroll;
Low volume manual timesheet processing;
Pay adjustments;
Payroll query management;
Terminations and redundancies;
Payroll tax & Superannuation calculations;
Payroll reporting and reconciliations; and
Award interpretation.
High volume or large system payroll experience;
Comfortable with manual interpretation of timesheets;
Experience with EBA and relevant legislation interpretation; and
Confident with new starters set up, terminations and leave calculations.
