CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a prominent global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are looking for a Technical Services Manager to join our Birmingham team, responsible for a 6-floor, 130,000 sq ft section until Dec 2024. The job involves overseeing a shift-based team, ensuring high-quality maintenance services and project integration. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading a team operating 12/7
- Swiftly responding to fault requests
- Undertaking routine maintenance
- Training and familiarization with the building and its systems. The role requires working Monday to Friday 0800-1700, occasional evenings/weekends.

**Key Tasks:**
- Monitoring project works in line with health and safety standards
- Attending management meetings
- Supervising staff in emergency situations
- Updating and managing IT systems

**Education**
City & Guilds Electrical competency Parts 1 & 2, 18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations. HV Authorised Person qualification essential.

**Skills**
Comprehensive building services knowledge, critical environment experience, customer relationship skills, and technical drawing interpretation. Previous supervisory experience is desirable.

**Knowledge**
Good understanding of facilities management, BMS/Control systems, chillers, boilers, life safety systems, and HV systems. Knowledge of Smart Buildings and IOT is a plus.

**Experience**
Practical experience working with supply partners and strong customer service skills are required.

**Aptitude**
Positive and proactive attitude, ability to adapt quickly to client needs.

**Management**
Proven leadership in managing multi-skilled engineers, experience in HR management and leading engineering tasks.

**Core Competencies**
Team player, able to work under pressure, demonstrate CBRE RISE values, strong people management skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Experience in HV operations and Critical Services is advantageous.
