The Opportunity
In this role, you will ensure that the Terms & Conditions established are strictly applied and followed, meeting corporate guidelines while meeting defined goals for the Sub-Region.
You will lead and control the warranty activities, parts return and communication towards the dealer network and ensure that qualitative and quantitative KPIs are matched.
Be the "Face of Warranty", in charge of the first level of contact, deliver training on processes with the aim of constantly improving dealer knowledge and claim quality.
Your responsibilities include:
- Implement and locally drive changes on warranty procedures, documentation, warranty reporting and projects.
- Monitoring budgets and spend for each product line.
- Locally leading and implementing global projects related to warranty.
- Ensuring new dealers are setup for eWarranty/SAP/WIT on timely basis.
- Monitoring policy claim spend and ensuring appropriate use of the policy budget.
- Preparing and publishing warranty communications and bulletins for internal and external partners.
- Monitoring & interacting with Help Desk on issues related to Warranty.
- Ensuring timely credit to dealers with complete adherence to the global warranty KPI's.
- Regular monitoring & maintenance of Parts Mark Up, Labour Rates & Impo Costs.
- Supporting the Supplier Warranty Recovery & Local Parts Recall Team ensuring correct, precise and timely claim processing.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Warranty or Service Administration within the Construction/ Industrial/ Agricultural or Automotive industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
- SAP experience would be advantageous.
- Strong problem solving and investigative skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong communication abilities.
- An awareness of local and domestic laws pertaining to Manufacturing liabilities towards warranty.
- Availability to travel as needed for the role.
