Exciting Opportunity

We are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Design Drafter to join our growing team. This role is based in our Adelaide Mawson Lakes office and is a full-time, permanent position. Our projects mainly focus on the Food & Beverage sector, with a strong emphasis on servicing the wine industry.

Job Summary

We are looking for an individual to provide precise and efficient design and drawing services to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers to create accurate drawings that meet customer specifications
  • Produce drawings and models using CAD or 3D Modeling software
  • Review engineering data to ensure compliance with design concepts
  • Create plans and detailed drawings for various construction projects
  • Liaise with engineers to provide analysis on construction practicality
  • Determine work order and presentation methods
  • Communicate any changes that may affect project deadlines
  • Finalize and duplicate drawings according to specifications
Requirements
  • Preferably have experience in the wine industry
  • Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D/12D
  • Strong understanding of drafting standards
  • Hold a Diploma or higher qualification in structural, civil, or mechanical engineering
  • Excellent technical knowledge in the field
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Capable of working independently and overseeing projects
  • Able to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrate accuracy and patience in work
  • Professional demeanor and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated and proactive attitude
