An exciting opportunity for a Lecturer in Project Management has arisen at the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), within the College of Project Management, Built Environment and Asset & Maintenance Management (CoPBA)
- to join the academic team. The Project Management (PM) courses enjoy high reputation with remarkable quality where the courses have recently been accredited by the Global Accreditation Centre

  • Project Management Institute (GAC-PMI). SET is underpinned by a strong culture of engagement, leadership, openness, inclusiveness and a 'can do' approach that ensures that it is a great School in which to work and study.


We are looking for a strong academic with track records in research as well as experience in supporting undergraduate and postgraduate student's education and development through multi-modal delivery strategies and mentoring students to achieve learning goals.

You will contribute to the research and curriculum development and to the wider academic, research, and professional requirements of the School of Engineering and Technology and be a key contributor to research output in the college of Project Management, Built Environment, Asset & Maintenance Management.


Position Requirements:

  • Possession of a doctoral qualification (PhD) in Project Management or related discipline.
  • Track record of well recognised research with the capacity to undertake original research with a view to publishing in refereed journals; and collaborate with other academic staff both within and outside of the University to promote research environment.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education.
  • An understanding of current professional and education issues in higher education and the ability to engage and work effectively with colleagues to support students and promote CQUniversity.
  • Demonstrated capacity to engage and network effectively with industry and community partners and stakeholders and secure external funding and research collaboration.
  • We value applicants with experience in teaching in other disciplines including Asset and Maintenance and Construction Management courses.
