THE ROLE
Senior Project Officer
The Senior Project Officer role involves leading crucial initiatives within the Aboriginal Initiatives Unit at Family Safety Victoria. Responsibilities include supporting the Dhelk Dja Partnership Forum in achieving its strategic goals and actions. This position entails offering top-notch project, program, policy, governance, reporting, and stakeholder assistance to execute plans aligned with the Dhelk Dja Agreement and its Action Plans.
Building solid relationships across Aboriginal communities, services, and government entities is key to advancing outcomes in line with the Dhelk Dja Agreement, focusing on creating a future where Aboriginal people are free from family violence.
Applicants should possess strong written communication, analytical, and project management skills, fostering a collaborative work environment.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders, preparing detailed reports and submissions on complex matters.
- Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders to promote a collaborative approach.
- Oversee project delivery compliance with relevant legislation, government regulations, and guidelines.
