Retail Analyst | Bras N Things | Pyrmont, NSW | 6-Month FTC

Working within our Finance team and reporting directly into our Commercial Manager, your key responsibilities will be to provide regular retail trade reporting, review and analyse stores performance and engage with various departments including Store Development, Retail Operations and Online to determine commercial opportunities.

This is an exciting role that provides exposure and collaboration across the business and would be a perfect opportunity for someone who has a background in accounting, looking to pursue a career in finance within an iconic and highly profitable retail business This role is an initial 6-month contract until February 2024.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and analysis of weekly trade reports, monthly store performance and labour productivity reports
• Compile and prepare business cases for new store openings, lease renewals and store closures
• Collaborate with Department Heads to collate P&L reporting and support in trouble shooting variances
• Preparation of monthly retail bonus incentives
• Assistant in preparation of annual financial objective planning and monthly reforecasting processes
• Support Commercial Analyst, Commercial Manager and GM
• Finance, in ad hoc projects and analysis pertaining to business performance

To be successful in this role you will have:

• 1-2 years' experience in an accounting role ideally with a focus on analysis and reporting
• Exceptional attention to detail and data integrity
• Strong initiative and problemsolving skills
• Intermediate MS Excel proficiency
• PowerBI experience is highly desirable
• Team player and highly collaborative you enjoy partnering with stakeholders and building solid business relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
