  • The role you could play


We are seeking a dedicated Doorways Case Worker to support community members to meet their goals through community partnerships, collaboration and using case management as a tool.

Duties

  • Work collaboratively with Corps Officers, Volunteers, and other colocated Mission Leaders to deliver an integrated approach to delivering Doorways
  • Assessment of community members' specific needs, strengths and identification of interrelated issues and needs
  • Develop high quality case plans with community members to identify achievable goals using a strengthbased approach
  • Provide effective response to people experiencing longer term disadvantage and generational poverty
  • Degree level qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or other Community/Human Services discipline is highly desirable, or a
  • Diploma and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in the community services sector would be considered
  • Displays an optimistic approach to work
  • Respond with initiative to changing service priorities and operating environments
