About the role


The Maintenance Planner is responsible for providing technical expertise in relation to maintenance and asset replacement requirements; as well as planning, implementation and monitoring of work programs to improve system reliability and capability.


Key Responsibilities include

  • Monitoring, review and undertake network maintenance, asset replacement based on system notifications, monitor, update the works management system and all relevant works meet the necessary quality levels, timeframes and costs
  • Manage inventory to meet planning requirements and implement the necessary audit programs and cost controls
  • Fault and Emergency response management
  • Budgeting, forecasting, managing operational asset registers and regulatory and company compliance
  • Develop and strengthen relationship with Asset Management to ensure that customer expectations are met whilst matching delivery capabilities

About You

  • Clear understanding of resource planning
  • Knowledge of High Voltage and or Low Voltage overhead and underground construction and maintenance
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP work order management will be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Relevant trade/tertiary qualification or substantial experience working in a relevant maintenance discipline
  • Current Australian drivers licence
