About the role


Reporting to the Grain Protection Manager, GrainCorp is seeking a Grain Protection Supervisor to assist with the grain protection plan for our Fishermans Island Port site.


The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Monitoring pest control activities to ensure grain can be out turned free of insect infestation, within appropriate domestic and international pesticide tolerance.
  • Develop the regional fumigation schedule and plan the daily activities of Pest Control Officers, providing supervision of pest control activities.
  • Provide technical support within the region and assist with the development and presentation of inhouse pest control training programmes.

About your experience

  • Knowledge of the health and safety requirements within the pest control and grain handling industry
  • Current valid driver's license
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications in pest control
