As a Chapter Lead, your primary responsibility is to foster a world-class capability within your chapter.

In this role, you will act as a promoter and ambassador for the new culture and working methods and your expertise in a particular domain will be crucial as you guide and support your chapter members in developing their T-shaped skills and knowledge through coaching, training, and career development initiatives.


Key Accountabilities & Capabilities:

  • Working with Tribe Leads and Product Owners to oversee efficient allocation of Chapter members to Tribes and Platforms in line with current and forecasted needs.
  • Recruitment, development and retention of Chapter members including career pathway development.
  • Facilitate the use of Scaled Agile principles and practices to ensure successful execution of Tribe and Platform missions and objectives.
  • Helping to define the standards, processes and best practices for your Chapter and contributing to the goals of the broader Practice.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for developing others.
  • Proficient in managing, coaching, and fostering the growth of technical professionals.
  • Possesses exceptional technical expertise, serving as a valuable thought partner to product owners.
  • Boasts a successful track record in matrix management, including the management of nationally distributed resources and partners, both offshore and onshore.

Qualifications & Experience:

years of leadership experience and relevant University Degree (desirable)

  • Experience developing, coaching and engaging technology professionals.
  • Experience in resource planning and allocation within and across organisations
  • 10+ years of technical expertise in the relevant capability
  • Data Platforms, Data Architecture and Data Engineering
  • Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, ETL/ELT and Data Pipelines
  • Data Modelling, including Data Vault 2.0 implementations.
  • Automation, DevOps & DataOps
  • Experience working in an AWS environment (or equivalent)
  • SQL, Database technologies and development including but not limited to: AWS Redshift, Db2, Oracle, Dbt, DataBricks.
  • ITSM, ITAM & ITIL
