Position Overview:

TalentWeb are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Drafter to join our client's team in St Leonards. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in design drafting within the engineering consultancy sector, with a focus on civil land development, subdivisions, industrial and commercial projects. This role requires a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D design software (Civil 3D or 12D).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting and designing aspects of land development projects, with a focus on Stormwater/ Drainage/ Flood Planning/Bulk Earthworks/ Roads/ Grading Designs/ Carparks etc
  • Designing using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Thorough knowledge of Australian design codes.
  • Ability to work in an autonomous capacity, and within a team.
  • Work alongside a team of highly motivated engineering professionals to complete projects in a timely manner.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of design drafting experience within an engineering consultancy.
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required.
  • Relevant Diploma in drafting or related field.
  • Extensive Australian drafting and design experience, particularly in civil land development, subdivisions, industrial, and commercial projects.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and experienced with 3D design software (Civil 3D or 12D).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
