Whether you've recently graduated, are currently pursuing studies, are already working, or are a complete beginner, you'll start receiving payment from the get-go. You'll acquire all the necessary skills through thorough on-the-job training.
As an Electronic Warfare Operator, you'll unveil the invisible by intercepting, recognizing, and examining electronic signals in the atmosphere. This will furnish your team with advanced alerts about potential dangers and unfamiliar elements in the ship's vicinity.
While working on land, your tactical skills are easily adaptable to a strategic setting. You will utilize your analytical intelligence capabilities to support the Navy in fortifying their defense against maritime threats.
Your responsibilities will involve, but not be restricted to:
- Utilizing electronic intelligence and surveillance devices to pinpoint, trail, and ascertain the whereabouts of nearby vessels, aircraft, radars, missiles, and armaments
- Operating electronic warfare systems and defense mechanisms against anti-ship missiles
- Employing sensors and countermeasures
- Offering counsel to the Command
As a sailor, you will handle additional tasks and acquire more expertise to become highly proficient and effective in backing the entire vessel. This could encompass ship security, firefighting, boarding operations, damage control, rope handling, emergency medical aid, flight deck responsibilities, sea replenishment, participation in medical emergency response teams, munitions handling, or ceremonial assignments.
