About the Role:


As a Sales and Education Specialist within the Medication delivery team you will engage with key hospital personnel, clinicians, nursing staff, pharmacy and procurement teams in the major hospitals in designated territory.

You will also establish, maintain and develop mutually beneficial and profitable business relationships between Baxter Healthcare and its customers and be responsible for the delivery of Sales performance indicators relating to Baxter Medication delivery products, services and equipment

This is a permanent full time opportunity and can be based in either SA or WA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing relationships and network with all levels of clinical/management offering excellent service, backup and product knowledge
  • Participating in territory management with the National Sales Manager, Marketing team and Healthcare Solutions teams.
  • Identifying incremental business opportunities and develop relevant strategies
  • Providing market information and data to develop a sound understanding of the marketplace
  • Coordinating and provide education and ongoing training throughout trials and implementations of Baxter Products
  • Continuing ongoing product support starting from implementation, following the complete product life cycle
Ensuring Baxter product information material is provided to customers has been approved by Marketing and / or Medical Affairs

  • Being a key advocate for total Medication delivery product portfolio.
  • Achieving sales goals and maintain profitability

Qualifications, Experience & Skills required:


This role would ideally be a good fit for someone with a sales or clinical background with a strong business acumen and passion for driving results with a meticulous customer focus.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, Sales/Marketing, Nursing or Science related field
  • 3+ years Commercial / Sales / Account management experience in Healthcare
  • Ability to function as part of a high performing team
  • Ability to act as an effective negotiator who can influence stakeholders and decision makers at all levels
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills imparting technical and conceptual information
  • Aptitude for learning and development and a collaborative team approach
  • Ability to be flexible with working hours and undertake interstate travel when required
  • Valid Driver's Licence
