Overview


Are you ready to make a difference in healthcare administration? We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as our Administration Officer.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing and Midwifery, you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient and effective administration services across Burra and Snowtown Hospitals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide confidential clerical and administrative support to facilitate smooth daily operations
  • Communicate effectively with clients, community members, healthcare staff, and external agencies
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, fostering a culture of cooperation and support
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Utilise computer skills for word processing, data entry, and HR record management
  • Manage workload independently, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
  • Uphold YNLHN policies on confidentiality and professionalism
  • Demonstrate initiative and tact in handling sensitive work situations

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in administrative and clerical support roles
  • Familiarity with agenda preparation, minutetaking, and report writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain efficient office systems and procedures
  • Experience with data entry and spreadsheet/database management tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
