About the Role

They are currently seeking an experienced Shared Services Support Officer with plant hire or invoice and timesheet experience to join their team in Wollongong.

This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.

Working within Shared Services, you will be required to respond to multi-channel customer enquiries as first contact as well as process transactions, contracts and purchase order variations to support the effective delivery of Tier 0 and tier 1 services to a range of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact, delivering professional customer service
  • Answering customer enquiries, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work comfortably within a high volume transactional shared services environment
  • Process transactions, referring to shared service articles and guides
  • Interpret and resolve problems, escalating more complex enquiries to senior team members
  • Provide customers updates and feedback to ensure they are aware of the progress of their enquiry
  • Records and database management, ensuring accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
  • Utilise a range of technology and telephony systems to triage, refer and escalate work tasks
  • Meet KPI's and achieve the shared services performance levels for customer satisfaction, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in regular quality assessments along with operational and performance discussions
  • Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

About You

  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A strong customer service and service delivery focus
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Solid analytical, negotiation, conflict resolution and problemsolving skills
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite and telephony systems

Requirements:

  • Call Centre or Shared Services experience essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Procurement Shared Services
  • Proven Plant Hire or invoice/timesheet experience
  • Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
