Our team of technicians conduct regular and general maintenance, pool equipment installations and treatments and contribute to the success of our business.

Working as a Pool Technician can be physically demanding, and the job often involves working in varying weather conditions.

Pool Technicians play a critical role in maintaining safe and enjoyable swimming pool environments for the public, and their expertise is essential in preventing waterborne illnesses and accidents associated with pool use.


We currently have an opportunity for a full time, qualified and experienced Pool & Spa Technician to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:

Pool & Spa Cleaning, Maintenance, and Installations:

  • Regularly clean and vacuum swimming pools to remove debris, dirt, and algae.
  • Monitor and adjust water chemistry by testing and adding chemicals as necessary to maintain water quality.
  • Brush and skim the pool surfaces to prevent algae growth and ensure water clarity.
  • Empty and clean pool skimmer baskets and pump strainers.
  • Inspect and maintain pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions or defects.
  • Perform routine maintenance and lubrication on pool equipment to extend its lifespan.
  • Installation of pumps, filters, chlorinators and heat pumps

Water Quality Management:

  • Monitor and adjust water pH, chlorine levels, and alkalinity to meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain appropriate water circulation to prevent stagnation and ensure proper filtration.

Record Keeping:

  • Keep accurate records of pool maintenance activities, chemical usage, and equipment inspections.
  • Maintain inventory of chemicals, parts, and equipment needed for pool maintenance.

Customer Service:

Interact with pool owners, managers, or clients to provide information about pool maintenance and offer recommendations for improvements.

Build positive and cohesive relationships with the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Solid and demonstrable experience in pool maintenance and water chemistry is a plus.
  • Advanced skill level in pool maintenance, installations, and chemicals
  • Knowledge of pool equipment and chemical usage.
  • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to lead and positively influence a team.
