In our mission to stop men dying too young, we're seeking a passionate Events and Experience Managerto join our Melbournebased team.

About the role Are you a dynamic and creative events professional with a knack for orchestrating unforgettable events and experiences? The Events and Experience Manager at Movember project manages and executes remarkable experiences, delivering key campaign moments such as launches, Movember 1 activations and end-of-campaign events.

Due to parental leave, we have a rare opportunity to join our team on a fixed term full-time basis until October 2025.

You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Richmond office.
Some interstate travel during our busy campaign season may also be required.
Key aspects of the role include

Premium Event Execution:
Plan and deliver high-calibre events that leave a lasting impression and drive supporter acquisition.

Activations and Media Marketing Moments:
Create and execute engaging public activations and launches that capture attention and drive brand awareness.

Independent Project Management:
Handle the entire event lifecycle, from conception to execution, ensuring every detail aligns with strategic goals.

Strategic Development and Implementation:
Develop comprehensive event strategies and execute them with precision, including hands-on involvement in the grunt work.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work effectively with key stakeholders, including fundraising, marketing, brand, PR, and partnerships teams, to ensure seamless event integration and maximum impact.


Media Marketing Awareness:

Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the media marketing landscape to keep our events cutting-edge.


Timeline and Budget Management:
Demonstrate strong project management skills to deliver events on time and within budget.

Ticketing Platform Experience:
Utilise your experience with ticketing platforms to manage event attendance and maximise reach.

Brand Guidelines Adherence:
Ensure all events are consistent with our brand identity and guidelines.
For this role, you'll need Self-Starter: A proactive individual who can take initiative and work independently.

Creativity:
Someone with a flair for innovative thinking and creative problem-solving.

Project Management Expertise:
Proven experience in managing multiple projects and adhering to strict timelines.

Detail-Oriented:
Ability to focus on the finer details while keeping the bigger picture in mind.

Effective Communicator:
Excellent communication skills to work closely with various teams and stakeholders.

Supporter Acquisition Focus:
A strategic mind focused on growing our base of supporters through exceptional event experiences.
