With being appointed more projects, my client is now looking to appoint an additional Project Leader in their studio to join their team and work on a range of multi-residential and commercialised projects.

As a Project Leader, you will orchestrate architectural projects from inception to realisation, drawing upon profound industry expertise and architectural acumen. Cultivating an environment of perpetual enhancement and innovation, you will refine methodologies to foresee and tackle forthcoming challenges in the built environment. Your leadership will play a crucial role in integrating novel perspectives and insights to uphold architectural excellence. Supported by the studio, you will oversee all project phases, leading substantial components on larger-scale endeavours with a team, or managing the entire lifecycle of smaller projects with a dedicated team. This role will expose you to a diverse array of project scales and typologies, enriching your architectural experience. This is a great opportunity for a Project Architect or 2IC who may also be contributing these components in their current role and are ready for their next career leap.

In the role as a Project Leader, we require the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • NSW Registration desired but not essential
  • 8-15+ years of post graduate experience
  • Proven experience in leading architectural projects across various sectors including commercial buildings, retail centres or multi-residential apartment blocks.
  • Strong project management skills, from initial concept through construction and handover.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a collaborative approach to team empowerment.
  • All applicants must have current experience working on local projects in Australia
  • All applicants must have permanent residency or Australian citizenship in Australia, Bridging Visas that do not require sponsorship are also accepted.
