Due to some recent Major Project wins in
Transport, our Roads, Airport and Civil team is looking to hire
Civil Drafters / Technicians (at various levels) to join our
Sydney team on a Full Time, Part Time or Fixed Term Contract.


Overview of the role:

  • Prepare concise engineering drawings from sketches and design information unassisted
  • Undertake reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with CAD standards and Quality Systems
  • Manage and monitor the quality of work performed by others and promote a culture of technical excellence through mentoring and training less experienced drafters
  • Fulfil Project Drafter role manage the drafting aspects of projects of varying complexity and size, including planning and controlling of deliverables, resource management and maintaining communication between engineering and drafting staff on the project
  • Possess appropriate time management skills and flexibility to allow for the management of a varying workload
  • Actively assist colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhance satisfaction and exceed client expectations

What we'll love about you:

  • Civil Drafters with +5 years' experience
  • RMS Roads and Highways experience
  • Good Microstation and /or AutoCAD Skills
  • ProjectWise working knowledge preferable
  • Works well in a busy and at times pressured environment
  • Team orientated individual
  • Time management skills and work motivated
  • Excellent communication skills including written and spoken
