You will be responsible for

  • Measuring BOQ's using Buildsoft / Cubit software
  • Preparing initial estimating assessments of tenders for tender shortlist review
  • Delivering accurate and timely trade break ups of documentation, appropriate trade subcontractor selection lists, liaising with subcontractors to ensure they have a full understanding of the required scope of works and programme
  • You will report to the Senior Estimator that will mentor you in this role

For you to be Successful

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction or Quantity Surveying
  • At least 2 5 years post graduate experience estimating and measuring
  • An understanding of the construction process and reading construction drawings to enable accurate pricing
  • Ability to accurately build up reasonable and appropriate rates with available information
  • Ability to engage with subcontractors and develop loyal and ongoing relationship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and eye for detail
  • Good attitude & eagerness to learn
