Your impact

We are looking for a Surveyor to join our Data Capture team, primarily working in North Sydney but also supporting the broader Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) business.

We are a highly functioning and collaborative team in search of someone with a proactive attitude. This position will report to the New South Wales Team Leader.

The Jacobs ANZ Data Capture and Advisory business has access to the latest equipment, software, and processes, offering professional surveying services, solutions, and advice to our key clients in major infrastructure projects in Transport, Water, Power and Energy, and Built Environment sectors.

You will become part of an inclusive and collaborative team of highly motivated and engaged industry-leading survey professionals, working across diverse markets with a digital focus.

You will have the opportunity to work across markets and expand your career prospects while collaborating with a variety of disciplines.

  • As a consultant surveyor at Jacobs, you will need to undertake fieldwork tasks, manage large survey and utility datasets, support team development, mentor graduates, and interact with internal and external clients to grow our business and deliver projects efficiently.

This role requires a comprehensive knowledge of surveying and basic understanding of related disciplines to manage the technical aspects of survey projects.

You will apply industry best practices and business knowledge to enhance products or services and tackle complex issues.

You may lead projects or project phases within larger projects or have responsibility for ongoing activities or goals. Additionally, you will work independently, provide guidance to less experienced colleagues, and develop client relationships while assisting senior staff in proposal writing and project acquisition.
