A bit about your role

  • The Assurance Planner is responsible for leading the spares and assurance planning process to ensure spares are strategically planned, acquired, and strategically positioned to uphold the nbn network's integrity and comply with the wholesale broadband agreement. This role involves analyzing data, making informed interpretations, and deriving conclusions to formulate assurance requirements, culminating in precise and meaningful Assurance demand plans.
  • The Assurance Planner must have a solid grasp of nbn's network technologies and infrastructure, enabling them to discern assurance demand patterns and develop efficient spares and assurance strategies. The position entails strategizing and distributing spares across different locations, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and streamlining replenishment processes.

A bit about you

If you feel that this position aligns with your skills and expertise, it's likely that you have prior experience in spare parts planning or demand planning, preferably in the telecommunications sector. You should possess a profound comprehension of network assurance and spares planning principles, along with the ability to conduct in-depth data analysis and swiftly make well-founded decisions.

You should demonstrate exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, effective in engaging with individuals at all organizational levels and hierarchies, while also capable of spearheading cross-functional spares and assurance initiatives that drive successful results. Furthermore, you need to exhibit strong planning, analytical, and forecasting proficiencies and showcase a track record of utilizing SAP IBP to great effect.
