THE POSITION


Due to recent growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our team located in the western Melbourne suburb of Altona North.


As an Automotive Accessory Fitter/Panel Assembler, you will be removing and replacing vehicle body parts, fitting aftermarket accessories, and a variety of related tasks, to prepare vehicles for delivery to our customers.

A mechanical or auto-electrical background is desired; however,
if you have a mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude and are keen to learn, we will provide the training and support to shape your career

What you will do:

  • General automotive diagnostic and automotive body parts & accessory fitment
  • Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability
  • Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
  • Cleaning and polishing vehicles once repairs are complete
  • Inspection of vehicles
  • General yard duties

What you will bring:

  • A 'manual' driver license (min. 3 years) essential
  • Prior experience in Vehicle fitment and movement
  • Automotive mechanical/electrical aptitude
  • You will be a people person with a 'can do' attitude who is passionate, energetic and shows initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and a willingness and ability to learn
  • Proven skills in multitasking, managing your own time and meeting tight deadlines

Nice to have:

  • Mechanical or autoelectrical qualification (or part thereof) desirable
  • Prior experience in the auto industry advantageous
  • Experience in the use of tools would be an advantage
