Job Description:

Our Family:

  • We are looking for a nanny for our: 10 year old daughter; 9 year old son; and 5 year old son. All attend the same primary school.

Your Duties:

  • On two afternoons (one day will be a Friday; the other day we are flexible), you will pick the children up from school and bring them home. Our house is a 16min walk from school (1.3km) or we can provide our car for driving them.
  • On one of the afternoons you will primarily be a caring, responsive, and engaged carer for our children and assist / supervise the 5 year old and 9 year old with completing their homework. You will also hang out with the kids and talk or play with them just keeping the kids engaged and out of trouble really On the other afternoon, the children will be engaged in independent activities at home so whilst they are occupied you will be: preparing dinner/s preparing and cleaning up afternoon snacks During the hours while the kids are at school (midday 3pm) you will be assisting with light household chores such as:
  • Folding and sorting laundry
  • Stacking and unstacking the dishwasher
  • Tidying the kitchen
  • Tidying up
  • Grocery shopping
  • Meal preparation

Our Perfect Caregiver:

  • Caring and kind, trustworthy, honest, fun, energetic, likes to play, and is a talkative person, is proactive with a can do attitude. Can be firm when necessary. Is safety conscious. Stays calm in stressful situations and shows initiative.
