Storeperson / Ta

Trojan Recruitment Group are currently seeking a Storeperson (All rounder) to work for an industry specialist that distribute and services a range of heavy duty hydraulic hammers and demolition attachments used across a variety of industries including mining and civil construction.

• Receiving goods inward including processing of relevant paperwork (e.g. Purchase Orders into inventory/job systems)
• Pick, pack and dispatch goods outward, including processing of relevant paperwork.
• Coordinate couriers for pickups/dropoffs
• Operate forklift for unloading and loading delivery vehicles or trucks.
• Slinging and manual handling of equipment & packages
• Construct wooden pallets and packing boxes
• Conduct scheduled and adhoc stocktakes and report on material discrepancies
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder as directed and/or required
• Ensure good housekeeping of stores, yard and common workshop areas
• Ensure warehouse is safe and well organised, including securing vehicles, equipment and machinery at the conclusion of each working day.
• Provide assistance to tradespeople in the workshop as and when required, including cleaning, tidying and assisting with hammer and attachment repairs
• Cover may be required at times to assist customers with enquiries and answering phones.

• Current drivers licence
• Current forklift licence (LF)
• Previous experience in all aspects of warehouse and logistic duties
• Understanding of WHS practices
• Basic understanding of hand tools
• Basic understanding of Microsoft office programs, Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience in use of overhead gantry cranes and Dogging Certificate desirable
• Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and DAS

• Local work based in Wangara 606
• Hours
• Monday to Friday 7am 3.30pm (15min Morning Break & 1/2 Hour Lunch) No Weekend work. OT on a case by case basis only.
• Work for a company that distribute & services a range of heavy duty hydraulic hammers and demolition attachments used across a variety of industries including mining and civil construction.
• Ongoing longterm work temp to perm job opportunity.
• Immediate start.
• Pay Rates $38per/hr + penalties
