About the Park

  • While many of our holiday parks offer a beachfront location, Ingenia Holidays One Mile Beach takes things up a notch with a 1.6kilometre stretch of sand, right on your doorstep. If you're feeling adventurous during your stay, you're in for a treat with over 26 beaches located in the Port Stephens region including the 32kilometre Stockton Beach, which is home to the largest sand dunes in the southern hemisphere. Choose between camping, caravan sites, cabins or villas for your stay at Ingenia Holidays One Mile Beach with direct beach access available from all villas.
  • You've got the best of Port Stephens less than 15 minutes' drive away and given its position along the coastline, seafood lovers will love the local oyster bars and seafood restaurants close by, like restaurant institution Rick Steins at Bannisters.

About the Position

  • We are looking for a casual Housekeeping Attendant to join our holiday park team on a casual basis. This position will be approximately 2030 hours per week with more hours during peak periods.

Responsibilities

  • Clean rooms and other work areas so that health standards and guest standards are met
  • Carry linen, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies to areas to be cleaned
  • Empty bins and transport waste to appropriate areas
  • Ensure all appliances are clean and in working order
  • Remove expired food from fridge/s
  • Replenish supplies in rooms and other areas
  • Disinfect equipment and supplies
  • Observe precautions required to protect the site and guest / resident property, report damage, theft and found articles to Site Manager
  • Keep storage areas wellstocked, clean and tidy
  • Work in a positive team environment showing excellent customer service skills to guests

You bring

  • Practical experience in a cleaning/housekeeping role
  • Experience working in a similar industry
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Well organised and a strong eye for detail
