GHD's Project Controls team is growing. We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Cost Controller to deliver consistent project support and assist in the preparation of estimates, monitoring and analysing project cost performance and providing accurate and timely reporting across multiple projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager and Directors in developing and organising bids, proposals, and fee estimates, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely. Set up projects in the project finance system and maintaining accurate data throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring proper closure upon completion. Assist in maintaining the project finance system on assigned projects to ensure projects are managed according to relevant financial contract. Coordination and monitoring of project workflow Accurate preparation and timely project cost reporting for internal and external clients, including weekly/monthly reports and estimates. Prepare and submit progress claims to ensure accurate and timely billing. Facilitate monthly project cost reviews including analysis of key variances to budget Ad hoc support on projects as required

What you will bring to the team:

Your ability to learn, your flexibility, and eagerness to help. Problem solving skills. Diligent and methodical approach with good attention to detail. Your experience in software such as MS Excel and Word. Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate concisely. Pro-activeness and willingness to support the success of the team. Accounting background and or Project experience beneficial but not essential.
