Role:

***We're seeking Machine Operators to join our Bristile Roofing team at Dandenong, VIC. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and operating machinery involved in manufacturing building products.

Duties include but are not limited to:

***- Sets up, operates and cleans mechanical equipment in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) at all times;

  • Sets controls, fixes attachments and materials to prepare for operation;
  • Performs basic problem solving and diagnosis of machine issues and escalates nonroutine issues to maintenance team for resolution; and
  • Assists and contribute to Operational Excellence initiatives.

Success Requirements:

***- Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery.

  • Strong skill in problem solving and faultfinding activities to identify and resolve machine issues/breakdowns.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Strong ability to operate manufacturing machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
  • Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of automated machinery.
  • High regard for workplace health and safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and work well in a team.
