About the Role:

Due to the progression of the current Supervisor to another role within the organisation, a full time, permanent opportunity has become available at our Kadina site.

Working 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 2.30pm on Fridays, the focus of this role is to take on the responsibilities of supervising, training, and mentoring supported employees within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising, training and supporting employees
• Ensuring a highlevel of safety in all areas
• Monitoring and managing quality control
• Ensuring production timelines and KPIs are met
• Completing daily checks on machinery and other general housekeeping
• Assisting in other areas of the business where required

About You:

Due to the progression of the current Supervisor to another role within the organisation, a full-time, permanent opportunity has become available at our Port Pirie site.

The focus of this role is to take on the responsibilities of supervising, training, and mentoring supported employees within a manufacturing environment.

Contracts at this site include manufacturing a range of timber products for distribution in Bunnings Warehouses around Australia, packaging services, grounds maintenance and specialised PPE cleaning for Nyrstar.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising, training and supporting employees
• Ensuring a highlevel of safety in all areas
• Monitoring and managing quality control
• Ensuring production timelines and KPIs are met
• Completing daily checks on machinery and other general housekeeping
• Assisting in other areas of the business where required

About You:

Other skills and qualities include:

• Solid computer skills, including the ability to use Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Understanding, patience, and empathy
• General production or manufacturing skills
• An ability to work with people with disability

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated.

• A National Police Clearance (no older than six months)

- a current Driver's Licence
- a current Forklift Licence

• NDIS worker screening clearance
• Evidence of right to work in Australia
• Evidence of FULL vaccination with a TGAapproved COVID19 vaccine or an acceptable exemption
