About the role:

We are seeking a Marketplace Manager to join our dynamic team in Sydney Marketplace. The Marketplace team is responsible for planning and executing media strategies for our clients, playing a pivotal role within EssenceMediacom by bringing campaigns to life. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop and lead impactful campaigns, this role is perfect for you. You will primarily work with one of Australia's major financial institutions, the Commonweath Bank of Australia, and also engage with brand partnerships to amplify their presence. This hybrid role involves working across OOH, radio, TV, print, with a strong background in digital being advantageous.

  • Leading negotiations with publishers, finalizing media plans, and reviewing responses
  • Managing team workflow and delegating tasks efficiently
  • Conducting meetings to plan the week's workflow, ensuring task completion
  • Identifying and addressing team training needs based on daily interactions
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with media owners, tech vendors, and data providers
  • Generating reports that offer valuable insights aligned with client objectives
  • Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing processes
  • Utilizing GroupM data for informed investment decisions
  • Staying updated on industry news and trends to benefit clients
  • Proficiency in handling numerical data effectively
  • Showcasing financial acumen and problem-solving skills
