Reporting to the Head of Skin, the Category Support Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and development of our skincare category. With a primary focus on pricing strategies, cost management, and standard operating procedures, this role will ensure the category's success through effective performance measurement, tactical initiative implementation, and staying abreast of market trends.

Key Relationships:

Overall Sales, Profitability, Strategy & Growth of the Category:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Skin to develop and review reports and metrics to achieve revenue and margin targets.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to inform pricing and promotional initiatives.
  • Research industry trends and propose improvements to promotional strategies.
  • Lead detailed sales analysis and stakeholder consultation to drive category performance.
  • Identify growth opportunities within clinics and assist in service optimization.

Learning & Development:

  • Establish and maintain category standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in sourcing content for training modules and materials.
  • Ensure education training content aligns with category policies and procedures.
  • Support the development of learning pathways for therapists.

New Product Development:

  • Collect and analyze data to support new product development decisions.

Implementation /Reporting:

  • Create relevant content for newsletters and internal communications.
  • Manage category tickets and queries from clinics.
  • Coordinate category meetings and training sessions .
  • Maintain category handbook content and clinic standards.
  • Provide marketing assistance and engage with the category.
  • Track team incentives and sales performance metrics.

Clinic and Customer Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for category-related queries.
  • Conduct training sessions for clinics on category processes.
  • Provide support to franchisees with commercial queries.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance obligations are met through documentation and protocol updates.
  • Support clinical department compliance as needed.

Adverse Event Management / Customer Support:

  • Assist clinical department with adverse event management.

Key Requirements:

Experience:

  • Previous category support experience in services, retail, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • C ustomer service experience is advantageous.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficient computer skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective prioritization and time management abilities.
  • Proactive, positive attitude with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Customer-focused and collaborative team player.
  • Willingness to learn and work independently across platforms.

Tertiary Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in business preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of aesthetics category and relevant technologies.
