Multimedia Coordinator

An opportunity has become available for a Multimedia Coordinator to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

• Assist in the management of entire projects from initial brief, production scope, scripting, shooting, editing, postproduction through to delivery
• Provide sophisticated creative video/photography of a high calibre within production schedule timeframes
• Work collaboratively with other team members to develop communication materials for a wide range of internal and external audiences
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of current and emerging creative communication trends

• Expert proficiency in video production, photography, editing, graphics, animation, creative suite, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Podcast production experience (highly regarded)
• Relevant qualification in Film/TV or videography (highly regarded)
• Evidence of vaccination and remain vaccinated against
• COVID 1
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be completed

The Strategic Communication and Engagement Unit oversees the implementation of Gold Coast Health's communication and engagement strategy, with the objective of enhancing and protecting the organisation's reputation as a world-class provider of health services and a leading employer.

It manages production of high-quality communication and engagement activity across a variety of channels for both internal and external audiences and provides strategic advice to the executive team and other GCHHS divisions.

As a multi-disciplinary team, the unit's contribution covers planning for and delivering media relations, issues and crisis management communication, strategic marketing, communication plans for major projects and initiatives, internal and change communication, website and online development and content management, publications, multi-media requirements, community engagement and consumer participation, events planning, advertising, branding, logo and policy information.
