Job Title: Executive Branch Manager, Infrastructure Project Solutions Company: Major Projects Canberra (MPC)

MPC is currently looking for a skilled leader to join their team as an Executive Branch Manager for a temporary six-month position with a potential extension of up to nine months starting on June 3, 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with MPC Executives and Project Directors to ensure project assurance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage project systems, framework, procedures, and capability enhancements, including training and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead the delivery of various MPC and Whole of Government functions such as administering Government and National Prequalification Schemes, overseeing contract creation, and maintaining project delivery frameworks.
  • Provide support for project management systems, vendor contracts, and data analysis to facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Assist in developing capital works business cases and ensure project controls activities are efficiently carried out.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Strong leadership, relationship management, and strategic thinking capabilities are essential.
  • Proven experience in project governance, contract and project controls management is required.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and public-private partnerships is advantageous.
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Contract Management, Project Management, or related fields are preferred.
