At AMWU we know that our delegates and workplace leaders are the keys to organised and powerful workplaces, and we know that union officials have a vital role in supporting them in their roles.

We invest in our workplace leaders and officials by providing fit-for-purpose education and development programs, delivered by a highly skilled and experienced team.

Our programs include classroom and on-the-job training, coaching and mentoring, and support networks.

We have standard programs, and alongside these we develop specialist and campaign-specific programs so that our members and officials have the skills, knowledge and tools they need to deliver the changes that make a difference to their workplaces and communities.

The National Education Officer will work within our national education team across all aspects of this work.

This is a role that will draw on your organising skills and experience, adult education skills, and your ability to work effectively with people at all levels and locations of the union.

If you're passionate about worker power, have experience as an organiser or educator and are looking for a challenging role in which you can bring all your skills to table, then we would love to hear from you.
