Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the concrete batching plant efficiently to ensure accurate concrete mixing and production.
  • Monitor and control the batch process, ensuring that the correct materials and proportions are used to achieve desired concrete specifications.
  • Manage concrete inventory, including tracking and recording all incoming and outgoing materials accurately.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on the batching plant to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on the concrete mixture to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Load concrete mixtures onto trucks or other transportation vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of concrete products.
  • Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Concrete Batcher/Loader Operator or similar role.
  • Proficient in operating concrete batching equipment and loader machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete mixing procedures, materials, and proportions.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver's license and white card
  • Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical and Police Check
  • Ability to work up to 55hrs per week
