We are looking for experienced Emergency Services Officers who can provide frontline emergency services to a site-based workforce, working various rosters.

About the Role
As a MESO/Trainer, you will be available to attend as required to various mines sites as MESO.

As a trainer, you will also have the opportunity to train students at the Balcatta Office.

Rosters will be varied, depending on the site.

Guaranteed 168 hours or more per month.

$55 P/H Inclusive

Duties are but are not limited to:

• First response to all emergency incidents and alarms.
• Assist paramedics as required.
• Assist security at the beginning and the end of the shift in access and egress duties.
• Equipment and vehicle checks.
• Train and mentor ERT Members.
• Conduct fire extinguisher training for the workforce as required.
• Conduct Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Other duties as required.

Must have:

• Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (or below individual competencies).
• Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance).
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE4011
• Certificate II in Security Operations.
• Western Australian Security Licence.
• Vertical Rescue.
• Confined Space Rescue.
• Operate Pumps.
• Drive vehicles under operational conditions.
• Alcohol and Other Drugs Collector.
• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces.
• Gas Test Atmospheres.
• Minimum MR Manual Driving License.
• Monitor hazardous atmospheres.
• Work Safely at Heights.
• Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
• Maritime Security Guard Awareness Training.
• Certificate II Security Operations and WA Security License.
• Wildfire
