City of Newcastle's recently established Environment and Sustainability Service Unit is searching for an experienced Integrated Water Cycle Engineer to join their team.

As the Integrated Water Cycle Engineer, your main responsibility will be to lead the implementation of CN's Water-Sensitive City (WSC) Action Plan, an essential component of the Newcastle Environment Strategy (NES) - CN's strategic plan for a sustainable Newcastle.

You will utilize your expertise to identify opportunities for CN to evolve into a water-sensitive city through various initiatives such as governance, community engagement, adaptive infrastructure, and resource efficiency. Your role will involve mitigating flood impacts and enhancing ecological health by creating public spaces that effectively manage water.

Additionally, you will serve as a subject matter expert, offering specialized guidance to both internal and external stakeholders on best practices in urban water management. Your expertise will also contribute to the incorporation of water-sensitive city principles into CN's policies, plans, and projects.
