Your impact
We are seeking expressions of interest for two Team Leaders in the Engagement and Social Planning ANZ Section. Team Leaders are key front line operational managers at Jacobs.

The primary responsibilities of a Team Leader is to support employee wellbeing and engagement, provide career development support and assist with overall team workload balancing.

The Team Leader role sits alongside a primary role and should makeup approximately 20% of your day-to-day responsibilities. You should be a Senior Consultant (JP3) or higher to apply for the role.

This role would suit someone with an interest in operational and people leadership and may wish to consider taking on an operational leadership position (such as a Section Leader role) in the future.


Specific tasks for the Team Leader include:

  • Advocate and proactively drive the intent of the Operating Model
  • Proactive support and ownership of key aspects of the client relationship in support of the Client Account Manager (CAM)
  • Facilitate day to day workload balancing for the team, making full use of the supporting IT systems and proactively collaborating with necessary stakeholders including GID
  • Review weekly timesheets in the timesheet system and raise any concerns promptly to the Section Leader
  • Support the DO and SL in reinforcing communications and team focus
  • Provide day to day guidance to team members on Jacobs processes and systems
  • Support or conduct assigned e3 conversations, the latter typically with predominantly junior and mid-level team members
  • Provide feedback and support to team members
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new hires/appointments into the team
