Full-time Maintenance Fitter role within a leading beverage production company, based in the southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. For a Maintenance Technician, or Mechanical Fitter to ensure efficient operations of packaging and brewing equipment for top Australian wine brands and distilleries.

A normal day includes

  • Regularly inspect and maintain packaging and brewing equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Swiftly address equipment malfunctions to maintain production schedules.
  • Keep workshop tools and machinery in optimal working condition.
  • Perform miscellaneous maintenance tasks as required to ensure efficient production equipment.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and promote a culture of safety among team members.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff on equipment handling and safety practices.

Hours include working Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm

You will need

  • Trade qualification as a fitter and related certificates
  • Beverage manufacturing experience within wine bottling, canning lines, RTD beverages, or beer
  • Maintenance/Mechanical Fitter experience in manufacturing
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Skilled in general fabrication and experienced in welding
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
